Sarah Jane Brown, 45, passed away on April 29, 2018 at St Elizabeth Hospice after a long battle with cancer. On January 5, 1973 she was born to Rick and Ramona Bradshaw. Sarah graduated from Simon Kenton High School in 1991 and later received an Associate Degree from Beckfield College. On December 22, 1994 she married Lee Brown. Sarah was a loving mother, dedicated employee of Great American and devoted member of Bethesda Community Church where she launched the Bibles and Brushes painting program. Sarah was very artistic, sharing her talent through painting and crocheting. She loved her family and friends, and enjoyed a loving relationship with God. Sarah will be greatly missed.
Sarah is survived by her parents Rick and Ramona Bradshaw; her husband Lee Brown; her children Eric Bradshaw, Christian Brown, Josey Brown; sisters Katherine Bradshaw, Wanda (Tim) Short, Rebekah (Darrin) Trowbridge; several nieces and nephews; and many friends, even those dating back to high school.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made in Sarah's name to Bethesda Community Church, 989 E Mt Zion Rd, Independence, Kentucky 41051.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Bethesda Community Church from 12 pm until time of service at 2 pm. Floral Hills Funeral Home is assisting the family. To leave online condolences, please visit www.floralhillsmemorialgardens.com
