Aaron “Avi” Milgrom, 72, of Covington, Beloved Husband and BFF of Kathleen Broomall Milgrom, his surviving wife, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center, Edgewood. He was born on February 17, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Jack and Trudy Milgrom (Hoffer). He was a Chemistry Professor at Miami University, and a valued Journalist/ Writer and Editor for the American Israelite in Cincinnati. He graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy on a scholarship for Piano, and then went on to a Chemistry and Physics Advanced Degree. His contributions to the Cincinnati community through vigilant postings of current news of concern (IBTSN news) will be sorely missed. Surviving also are his sisters Roz Essner and her children, and Miriam Milgrom Morris. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Monday, February 5, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, where visitation will be held from 1-3 PM. Memorial contributions to a Cancer Research Fund or an Animal Welfare Charity of your choice.
