Adams Brooks Darrell, 88, of Independence passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. He is retired from Queen City Barrel. Brooks is survived by his loving wife Josephine; step son Phillip Burns of Verona; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister Ruth Milner of Walton and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 10am until time of service 12pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills Funeral Home serving the family.
