Aldin "Butch" Casson, 70 of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on February 12, 2017 at his home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Victoria Casson; sons Kenneth Casson (Lynn) and Scott Casson (Ann); grandchildren Stephanie Casson, Kenny Casson, Sam Casson, Kylee Enos, Noah Casson, Ben Casson and Jackson Casson; great grandson Cody Casson; sisters Violet Lipscomb, Velma Sala and Mary Grimes ; brothers Phil and Frank Casson; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Rudolph and Easter Casson; brothers Clarence, Virgil, Richard and Everett; and sister Ginny Grimes.
Butch was a retired Police Chief in Covington where he served his community for 22 years. He ran Casson Printing Business for 30 years, printing bulletins for every Masonic lodge in Northern Kentucky among other things. He was a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He was a member of the F.O.P. and 32nd degree Mason at Colonel Clay Lodge #109. Butch was an aviation enthusiast with his private pilot's license. He served as a flight dispatcher and engineer for Sunworld Airlines. He was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Butch will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
The Visitation will be on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 10 am until the service at 12 pm with a Masonic Service to begin at 11:40am at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, KY.
