Anna Elizabeth Cooper, 79, of Circleville, Ohio, formerly of Independence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on January 31, 2017.
She was a teacher at Holy Cross High School, Holmes High School, and a substitute teacher in the Kenton County School System. She was an Associate Professor at the Vocational School in Northern Kentucky. She retired as a Realtor after 20 plus years in Northern Kentucky. She held a Bachelors Degree from Northern Kentucky University and she was just a shy of getting her Master's Degree.
Anna loved her Lord, Jesus Christ, and was a long time member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She loved playing the piano, and had the most fun playing Rook, Dominoes, and croquet with her family. She also enjoyed entertaining at each holiday. Anna loved being outside and especially enjoyed gardening and growing flowers, particularly roses and irises. A keen business woman, Anna also enjoyed fixing up and flipping properties.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth D. Cooper; parents, Melvin and Katie Mae (Brummette) Harris; siblings, Daisey Harris, Alice Harris Bonta, Wallace Harris, Audrey Harris, Richard Harris, Elsie Harris, Ova Harris Reyborn, Robert Harris, Salley Harris, Hershel Harris; and infant grandson, Brandon Dewain Cooper.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Dewain (Beth) Cooper; grandchildren, Christopher T. Dewain Cooper and Mariah Camille Cooper; sister, Versie Pauline Harris (Bob) Fossitt; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will take place on Friday, February 3, 2017, at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, Kentucky, from 11:00 am until the Service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Please visit floralhillsmemorialgardens.com to leave an online condolence.
