Anthony Quentin Truex

Anthony Quentin Truex, age 58, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at home in Greenwood, IN. Anthony was born on December 17, 1965 in Columbus, IN to Marvin Q. and Janice F. (nee Wilmoth) Truex. 

Growing up, Anthony enjoyed flying RC airplanes with his dad and brother. He served in the U.S. Army for 10 years and graduated Cummins Professional driving training and went on to enjoy traveling the United States as a semi-truck driver for 37 years. Anthony was a faithful Christian. God, his family, and friends brought him the greatest joy in life. He enjoyed being outside in nature, fishing, and taking rides on his motorcycle. But, most of all, Anthony enjoyed spending time with his family. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Q. Truex and brother, Brian F. Truex. Anthony is survived by: his mother, Janice Young, stepfather, Gean Young, loving children, Tiffany Truex and Quentin Truex, grandchildren, Sophie, Aiden, and Ellie, and closest family friend, Joni Sewell. 

The family has entrusted the care of Anthony to Floral Hills Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 6th, 2024 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 3556 Old Taylor Mill Rd., Taylor Mill, KY.
