Ausma Sumner, age 60, of Florence, formerly of Owenton, died Saturday, at Hospice of Cincinnati. She was a Senior Analyst for the Internal Revenue Service for 30 years and a member of Big Bone Baptist Church. She enjoyed riding Arabian horses and loved flowers. Her husband, James Temple II; and brother, Luther Sumner, Jr. preceded her in death in 1989. Survivors include her daughter, Angela E. Stacey; son, James G. Temple, III; brothers, Charles Sumner and Marlin Sumner; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society . Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
