Barbara Whiteker

Barbara Whiteker,
Age 76, of Independence, Kentucky entered into eternal peace Friday, April 18, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born January 1, 1938 in Sanfordtown, Kentucky. The daughter of Henry Spaulding and Virgie Spaulding Peacock. Barbara graduated from Simon Kenton High School with the class of 1957. In June of 1957 she was united in marriage to Don Whiteker for 56 years. She is preceded in death by her father Henry Spaulding, mother Virgie Peacock, and step father Raymond Peacock. Barbara is survived by her husband Don Whiteker. She is also survived by her children Clayton (wife Linda) Whiteker and Tammy (husband Bruce) Taylor; grandchildren Drew, Shonda, Nicole, Dakota and Dawson; great grandchildren Lily and Blake. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 12pm. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
