Bernice Hamlin

Bernice Hamlin of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, Kentucky. She worked at Booth Hospital as a Surgical Assistant and Garrard Street Nursing Home before leaving to become a Homemaker and be the best Mother to her 3 sons. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Hurstle and Truey Stephens, her Husband, Willard Hamlin, a Sister, Norma Baxter and a Granddaughter, Amber Hamlin. She is survived by 3 Sons; Owen Hamlin of Verona, Kentucky, Roger Hamlin of Erlanger, Kentucky and Gerald Hamlin of Glencoe, Kentucky, 5 Brothers; Kenneth Stephens, Glen Stephens, Doyle Stephens, Dale Stephens, and Ronnie Stephens, 2 Sisters; Ann Shoopman and Barbara Meadows, 14 Grandchildren, 13 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. A visitation for Bernice Hamlin will be held on Saturday, May 16 from 10 AM-12 PM with a Funeral Service starting at 12 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested to Banklick Street Church of God, 1103 Banklick Street, Covington, Kentucky 41011.
