Betty J. Adkins,
83 of Florence, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center. She is preceded in death by her husband Everette D. Adkins in 1989. She is also preceded in death by her sister Louise Bitter. Betty was a member of the Florence Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Teresa Darlene "Dar" Adkins of Burlington, KY; brother-in-law Ronald "Ronnie" Bitter of Florence, KY; sister-in-law Margaret "Mug" Rundell; nieces Marianne Farley, Rhonda Huffman and Donna Maupin; nephew Jim Adkins; several extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 12 pm. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
