Betty Bray

Betty Jane Bray of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, passed on to be with her Lord on July 22, 2018. She was 83. Betty was born Betty Jane Saupa, the only child of Kurt and Bertha, and was a life-long resident of Northern Kentucky. She married Jerald Bray in 1954 and the two were inseparable from that time on - raising a family, traveling and enjoying life together.

Betty was employed for many years at Disabled American Veterans, where she not only worked but volunteered and organized many activities. She was also involved for many years with Homemakers group and Eastern Star, and was a member of Alexandria United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.

Betty will fondly be remembered by many not only as a singer, a pianist, and a faithful volunteer in her church and community, but also as a unique and caring individual - always willing to help family, friends and neighbors.

Betty leaves behind her beloved husband, Jerry, and two children, Linda (Steve) Schuler of Indian Hill, OH, and Steven (Mavis) Bray of Mason, OH. She also leaves five grandchildren, Kurtis, Kara, Kristen, Joshua, and Daniel, along with seven great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Please leave on line condolences at www.floralhillsmemorialgardens.com
