Betty Collins

Betty J. Collins, 86, of Villa Hills, Kentucky, passed away on May 17, 2018 at Carmel Manor. She was born on June 22, 1931 to the late Omer and Tina Jump. Betty married George Collins on July 11, 1951 and he preceded her in death in April, 2002. Betty was a loving mother and grandmother, and the greatest joy of her life was her grandson, Jordan. She attended Crescent Springs Baptist Church as well as Hebron Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, camping and was a lover of animals.
Betty is survived by her daughter Patti (Edward III) Burk; grandson Jordan (Allison) Burk; niece Sharon (Arnie) Radford: and nephew Kevin Hughes.
Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister Bobby J. Hughes in 1998.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the Cincinnati Zoo.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 2 pm until time of service at 4 pm. A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family. To leave online condolences, please visit www.floralhillsmemorialgardens.com
