76 of Covington, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 12, 2016. She was retired from Equitable Bag Company. Betty was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church and New Banklick Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Lauer, Sr. Betty is survived by her children Joe Raines, Cindy Clair, Edward (Jennifer) Lauer, Jr. and Theresa (Greg) Hunkemoeller; grandchildren Taylor, Bethanie, Daemon, Andrew, Adam and Christina; sister Janith Kaye Callen; brothers Dennis Callen and Joseph Callen. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 5 pm until time of Memorial Service at 7 pm.
