Betty Ruth Wolpert

Betty Ruth Wolpert, 93, of Newport, passed away Friday, November 24, 2023, with her family by her side.  She was born November 27, 1929, in Arjay, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Alfred Engle and Elsie Smith Engle.  She was married to Charles F. Wolpert, who preceded her in death September 18, 2012.  She is survived by her children, Linda Staley, (Wayne Robinson); Deborah Frasher (the late Keith); Charles Wolpert (Kathy Anderson) and Patricia Wolpert, one brother, Ralph Engle (Nancy); grandchildren Amanda and Kyle Staley (Alexandra); Stephanie and Erick Frasher and Emily Dohme (Brad); Derek Wolpert and Chris Anderson; and great-grandchildren Caleb, Rachael, Olivia and Piper Trammell; Havier Frasher, Beckham and Sebastian Dohme. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings who passed early in childhood,  Sylvia, Coy,and Glenn Engle, a sister Billie Frady and a brother, James Engle. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Friday, December 1, 2023, at Floral Hills Funeral Home where visitation will be held Friday from 10-12PM.  Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
