Bill C. Cornett, Sr., 84 of Covington, Kentucky passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 1, 2024. He was an employee of Gold Medal Products in Sharonville, Ohio for the past 65 years.  He truly loved his job and enjoyed going to work each day.  He was an avid UK sports fan, Cincinnati Reds fan, Cincinnati Bengals Fan, loved watching NASCAR, enjoyed camping, and listening to Country music.  His passion was spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Loving Wife of 66 years, Elizabeth Louise Cornett (January 8, 2024); Parents, Fred and Ethel Cornett.  Bill is survived by his Children, Anita Bayer, Bill C. (Cheryl) Cornett, Jr., Fred (Linda) Cornett, Shirley (Tony) Moore and Robert Allen Cornett; 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren; Sister, Elsie Hamby and a Brother, Roland “Pee Wee” Cornett. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cornett and a sister, Sue Cornett. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 9 am until the Service at 11 am, followed by the burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
