Billy Strunk

Billy “Darrel” Strunk, 68, of Florence, unexpectedly passed away on February 15, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Edgewood. Darrel was recently retired. He spent many years as the business owner and operator of S&S Metal Finishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching football and loved the outdoors; although his most favorite hobby was napping with his dog, Jack. Darrel is survived by his daughters, Tracy Strunk and Kelly Strunk; sons, Jason (Rachel) Strunk and Rob Reyes; grandchildren, Emily Turner, Shaun Roberts, Liam Bartell and Maisyn Strunk; great-granddaughter, McKenna Turner; sisters, Carol (Mike) Tolle, Betty (Larry) Brooks and Phyllis Slavey; brother, Ovie Strunk and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Walter Strunk; wife, Alisha Strunk; son, Darrel Anthony Strunk and siblings, Sam Hackler, Shirley Strunk, Janice Floyd and Myles Strunk. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, KY on February 23, 2022 from 11am until the funeral service at 1pm.
