Byron Cook

Byron Cook, 84, of Elsmere, died Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Saint Elizabeth Hospice.  He was born February 18, 1939, in Corinne, West Virginia, the son of the late Raymond Cook and Margaret Phillips Cook.  He was retired from Kroger after 50 years of service and was a Army veteran.  He is survived by his wife, Sanda Collier Cook, whom he married November 15, 1986.  Also surviving are three children, David Cook (Karen); Cathy Cook and Susan Cook; two brothers, Ray and Kenneth Cook; one sister, Rachel Perdue (Paul); and 3 grandchildren.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard Cook and one sister, Marian Bell.  Visitation will be held from 12-1 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, where graveside services will take place at 1 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
