Candace Lee Harrison

Candace Harrison, a dedicated and beloved member of her family and community, passed away peacefully at the age of 71 on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Born in Covington, KY, on February 23, 1953, Candace was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warm heart and gentle spirit touched all who knew her.

Raised in the Baptist faith, Candace’s strong religious beliefs guided her throughout her life. She was a member of Erlanger Baptist Church, where she found great comfort and joy in her faith.

One of Candace’s most cherished memories was the vacation she took with her sons to Myrtle Beach. This trip was a special time for her, filled with laughter, love, and simple pleasure of being with family. It was a memory she often reminisced about and held close to her heart.

Preceding Candace in death was her caring mother, Betty Peddicord.

Candace’s legacy is carried on by her loving family, including her sons, William “Bill” (Lisa) Harrison and Brian (Andrea) Harrison; sisters, Linda Purcell, Patty Hampton, Teri York and Karen Leach; grandchildren, Kristen, Rebecca and Sophia; great-grandchildren, Adeline, Kaleb, Aubrey and Rylann; as well as many other relatives and friends who will forever remember her kindness, strength and unwavering love. She was a pillar of support and a source of inspiration to all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Floral Hills Funeral Home-Chapel B, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Rd, Taylor Mill, KY, 41015, with a visitation lasting 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Candace will then be laid to rest peacefully at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Candace Harrison’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
