Carol Ann Breeze

Carol Ann Breeze, aged 60, passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth hospital in Edgewood, KY on Monday, July 1, 2024. She was born on October 7, 1963, in Covington, KY.

Carol was the beloved owner and operator of the Latonia Bait and Tackle shop, a family business founded by her late parents, Edward and Glenna Watson, in 1963. Carol’s dedication and hardworking spirit were evident in the 41 years she and her husband, Dennis, devoted to running the shop together. 

Beyond her professional life, Carol found joy in visiting Mammoth Cave, KY, and taking trips to the casino to try her luck. She had a creative side, which she expressed through crafting and making candy and sweet treats during Christmas time.

Above all, Carol cherished the moments spent with her family, finding her greatest joy in the company of her grandchildren. Her loving presence and the warmth she brought to those around her will be deeply missed.

Carol is survived by her devoted husband and high school sweetheart, Dennis Breeze; children, Stephanie (Matt) Melton and Catie (Michael) Raines; sisters, Peggy (Jason) Reiling and Gail (David) Baynum; brother, William Watson; grandchildren, Grayson and Josephine; as well as many friends and customers who cherished her. She leaves behind a legacy of dedication, love, and cherished memories.

A visitation celebrating Carol’s life will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Floral Hills Funeral Home ~ Chapel A, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. A time of remembrance will immediately follow at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Carol will then be laid to rest peacefully at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
