Carol Myers

March 12, 1957 — May 25, 2016

Carol Ann (Weckbach) Myers
Beloved wife of Larry Myers. Loving mother of Christopher (Nikki) Mayhew of Cincinnati, Jennifer Lynn Myers of Taylor Mill and John Christopher Myers of Independence. Beloved daughter of Irene Weckbach and the late Byron Weckbach. Beloved sister of Allen Weckbach of Burlington. Beloved grandmother of Landen, Amber, Adam, Louie and Malcolm. Carol passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 59 years of age. Carol was born in Covington and raised in Erlanger. After living most of her young adult life in Ludlow, she moved to Geneva, Illinois and later to Noblesville, Indiana as she took on more challenges in her career and work. Carol loved flowers and tending her garden. She was the family's resident technical wizard and she kept apprised of her favorite Rock bands and songs. She refused to let her spirit age and fought for her family through her work and constant guidance. She was driven to excel through hard work. Professionally, she groomed store managers by instilling excellence in them. She created a second family at Marshalls, because she inspired loyalty rather than simply demanding it. She started her career as a cashier and rose quickly into the position of manager. She spent 26 years as store manager and primarily district manager based in Indianapolis until her sudden death. Prior to joining Marshalls in 1989 she worked as a manager for Bonwit Teller, Service Merchandise and Gold Circle in stores around Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Carol wanted to give her family advantages in life through her sacrifices and career. She was a working mother whose care shined brightly through her deeds. Carol was a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend who we love and will miss. Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Service Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, Kentucky 41015. Her Memorial Gathering will begin at 12 pm with a Memorial Service to honor her at 2 pm.
