Carolyn Bennett

Carolyn Y. 64 passed away Sunday October 24, at St Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. She worked as a nurses aid. She was preceded in death by sons Edward and Eldon Hicks. She was a loving mother and is survived by 4 sons Spurgeon Lee Hicks Jr., Steven Landis (Tonya, Ashley) Hicks, Randy Wayne Hicks, and Johnny Lewis Hicks (Kimberly), 2 step sons William Edward and Brian Curtis Bennett. Step daughter Brenda Sue Bennett. A brother George Tattershall (Valerie), sisters Madelyn, Georgette, Sandy, Tracy, Misty, and Joanna Tattershall. 5 grand children Bradley, Hannah, Maeson, Ashley and Charity Hicks and one great granddaughter Kira Hicks. Two nephews Wayne, and Ricky Huff , two nieces Georgia and Dorothy Huff. Friends and family may gather from 12 noon to 1pm prior to the service Thursday at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills Funeral Home is serving the family.
