Catherine Marie Templeton

Catherine Marie Templeton, 59, of Newport, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood, Kentucky.  She was born February 16, 1964, in Dayton, Kentucky, the daughter of Loretta Ciccarella Templeton and the late Paul S. Templeton, Sr.  She was a Registered Nurse having graduate from Northern Kentucky University; she is survived by her daughter, Virginia M. Lewis (Steven), granddaughter, Morgan A. Templeton, sisters, Ellen McLaughlin, Gina Walters, Marie Webb (Richard),  half-sisters, Pamela Minkovich (Edward), Connie Taylor (Bill) and nephew, Paul S. Templeton, II as well as many other nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul S. Templeton, Jr. and half-sister, Paula Templeton.  

Cathy was an avid reader, quilter and all-around lover of the arts community.  Her life passion was being a registered nurse which included volunteering to be a Kentucky Angel who helped with the hurricane relief mission in 2017 in Florida, caring for her mother and the many patients throughout her career with the Northern Kentucky Health Department.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at The Moose Lodge, 5241 Taylor Mill Road, Covington, Kentucky from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.
