NEWPORT - Cecil Lawrence Bennett, 64, died Friday, Sept. 12, at Hospice of the Bluegrass Care Center-St. Luke, Fort Thomas.
He was a member of American Legion Post 11 in Newport and Post 4 in Florence where he served in the Honor Guard and the Campbell County Boy's Home.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Patricia Bennett; sons, Cecil L. Bennett Jr. and Mark Johnson; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14 and service will be Tuesday Sept. 16, at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
