Charlene Eversole Dietz, of Latonia, passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the age of 65.
From working on cars to remodeling houses to baking, crocheting and making clothing and costumes for her children and grandchildren, Charlene had many talents. She was strong-willed and could do anything she put her mind to. She enjoyed music and could play several instruments. Charlene loved karaoke. She always fought for what she believed in and had a very generous heart.
More than anything, Charlene loved her family. She was a stay-at-home mom and grandmother. Charlene was very active in the lives of her children. Alongside her beloved husband, Ray, she coached Little League Baseball and Softball teams for their three children. In the 1980’s she
served as President of the Latonia Youth Club. She was, also, a Band Parent for the Holmes Marching Band.
Charlene is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Ray Dietz, Sr.; children, Carla (Todd) Nolan, Ray Dietz, Jr. and Angela (Tim Griffin) Dietz; grandsons, Ray Dietz, III “Ray Ray”, Corey McNay, Chase Dietz, Dylan Dietz, Logan McNay, Aidan Dietz and Colton Nolan; great-granddaughter, Meadow Jayce Trimpe; sisters Carol Messer and Charlotte Eversole and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie Jean and Utah Eversole and brothers, Utah “Junior” and Wayne.
