Charles Burchfield

Charles R. "Charley" Burchfield, 83 of Dayton, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord at his home on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Charley was born to Joseph and Nancy Burchfield in Millard, Kentucky, though he spent most of his life in Dayton. Charley was preceded in death by Jean (nee McIntyre)
Charley is survived by his children Barbara J. Sutton, formerly of Norfolk, Virginia, Danny R. (Debbie) Burchfield and Charles "Chuck" (Shelly) Burchfield; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Charley was a veteran of the Korean War, a retired Union Sheet Metal Foreman and a lifetime member of the Dayton VFW. In his spare time, he loved hunting, fishing and traveling.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, July 24, 2017 from 11am until 1 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. A Service of Christian faith service will take place at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. To leave online condolences please visit www.floralhillsmemorialgardens.com
