Daisy Mae Mains

Daisy Mae Mains, 98, of Dayton, Kentucky, died quietly in her sleep Thursday morning, February 22, 2024, at Highland Springs Nursing Home in Fort Thomas.   Born June 5, 1925, in Pendleton County, the daughter of the late Albert Mains and Anna Florence Mains.  Daisy retired from Gibson Greeting Card Company as one of their top proficient proofreaders after 40 years of service.  She was proud to be a longtime member of the Red Hat Society; and she enjoyed bowling with her friends. Daisy was a dedicated church going person; and she was extremely proud of having graduated from Butler High School and being "tops" in her class in 1943.  Daisy had three brothers who preceded her in death; Roy Haley, Clyde Mains and William Jasper Mains.  Daisy was a beautiful individual and always kind and giving to everyone she met!  Daisy was always seen with a smile on her face.  Funeral services will be held 12PM Friday, March 1, 2024 at Floral Hills Funeral Home where visitation will be held Friday from 10-12 PM. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
