Golsby, Dale, 63. Our beloved father, grandfather, and friend passed away on October 15, 2016. He was born on October 31, 1952 to Jesse Lee and Rosa Lee Golsby who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are brothers and sisters Eugene Golsby, Jim Worthy, Robert "Bobby" Golsby, Geraldine Chambers (Golsby) and Jessie Golsby. Dale is survived by his children Carece Golsby, Tina Derkson, Sheneeka Harris, Shawn Moore (Trisha), Dale Golsby Jr. (Nicole), Jesse Golsby, Keisha Coleman, Nathanial Golsby, Emanuel Golsby, Alysia Golsby, and Tiffany Golsby; his siblings, Edith Norman (Golsby), Andrew Golsby, Constance Huddleston (Golsby), and Ruth Powell (Worthy). Dale is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and Carla Golsby, his former spouse of 30 years and best friend until passing. After high school Dale joined the Marines and was active during Vietnam. When he returned home he began working maintenance jobs to provide for his family. Dale was a member of St. James AME Church in Covington, KY, and also a member of the Covington Elks. Everyone who met Dale knows he loved to fish, especially with his family and good friends. He was an amazing chef who enjoyed bringing his loved ones together with his amazing food. His BBQ sauce and ribs will surely be missed. His visitation will be held at St. James AME in Covington, KY on October 20th from 10am until time of service at noon. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, KY.
