Deborah Russell

Deborah Lynn Piper Russell, 44, of Bethel, Ohio, formerly of Florence, died Monday at her residence.
She was a training specialist with Fifth-Third and a petty officer in the Navy Reserves, where she completed a tour of Iraq in October 2008. She was a member and historian of American Legion Post No. 288.
Survivors include her father, Richard Piper of Estero, Fla.; her stepfather, Charles Green of Williamsburg, Ohio; brothers, James Piper of Florence, Raymond Carpenter of Cynthiana, and Major Michael Walton of Verona; and a sister, Connie White of Crittenden.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
