Delbert Magee

Delbert Ross Magee, 83, of Florence, Kentucky passed away on February 24, 2018 at St Elizabeth, Florence. He was born on August 3, 1934 to the late William and Mirtie Magee. On April 21, 1956 he married Betty Lou Raisor, who survives. Delbert retired from American Airlines where he worked as a baggage handler. He was a member of the First Church of Christ in Burlington, Kentucky. Delbert was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather who enjoyed time with his family more than anything. He also enjoyed Bingo and playing euchre. Delbert will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Along with his precious wife of 61 years, Delbert is survived by his loving daughter and son in law Sheri and Chuck Baker; adoring grandchildren Nicole (Eric) Geisen, Ryan (Brittney Ross) Fangman, Brooke Baker; great grandchildren Macy Geisen, Carter Ceisen, Saylor Lou Geisen, Parker Fangman and Colton Ross; sisters Marie Martin, Dorothy Pence and numerous nieces and nephews.
Delbert was preceded in death by his parents; his children Connie Lee Magee (1962), Gregory Magee (1986); sisters Nanna Mae Magee, Kathryn Meyers, Beulah Edmondson, Mildred Dunn; brothers William Magee, Jr. and Ronald Magee.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 1pm until time of service at 3pm.
