Denver Finnell

March 4, 1928 — January 26, 2009

Denver Finnell, 80, died Monday, Jan. 26, at Florence Park Care Center.
He was an engineer for C.S.X. Railroad, a Korean War Army veteran and master of Col. Clay Lodge 159 F. & A.M.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Finnell; son, Gerald Moore of Cincinnati; daughters, Edith Lafevers of Latonia, Tina Buckner of Union, Kimberly Moriconi of Erlanger, Elaine Syphers of Owenton, Sherry Barhorst of Latonia and Regina Rice of Taylor Mill; brother, Raymond Finnell of Taylor Mill; sisters, Ora Ann Weaver of Florence, Barbara Jett of Dayton and Jesse Halbauer of Sharonville; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, with Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. and service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Don Catchen & Son Funeral Home, Elsmere. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
