Diana Lynne (Webster) Dalton of Taylor Mill (Covington), Ky, was welcomed home by our Lord & Savior on November 23rd, 2018 at 10:58 p.m.  Diana was born June 23rd, 1952 as an only child and gift of life to John F. & Arlene Webster in the city of Newport in Campbell County Kentucky.  She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael Lee Dalton of the home.  Diana is also survived by her 3 beautiful children: Michael Lee Dalton Jr. of Pittsburg, KS and his wife Haley Dawn Dalton (A.K.A. Diana’s Kansas Daughter), Christi Lynne Dalton of Covington, KY, & John Anthony Dalton of Dixon, MO and his wife Renee Dalton.  Diana is also survived by 10 amazing grandchildren: Jacob Dalton, Christian Dalton, Matthew Dalton, Isaac Dalton of Pittsburg, KS, Felicia Embry, Dylan Scates, Trenton Saylor of Covington, KY, Lauren Hogan of John’s Island, SC, Waylon Dalton, Wyatt Dalton, Katie Dalton of Dixon, MO.  Greatgrandchildren include: Emma Broughton, Brayden Broughton, Daymion Scates of Covington, KY.  She is preceded in death by both her parents John & Arlene Webster.

Diana Lynne Dalton born Diana Lynne Webster graduated from Boone County High School on June 1st, 1970.  Just 4 days later on June 5th, 1970 she was joined in marriage to her high school sweetheart and love of her life Michael Lee Dalton.  A devoted wife, loving mother, & Nana, she worked in the food service industry as both a server and a lunchroom manager at Morningview Schools and was the primary caregiver for her husband.  Diana loved sewing, canning foods, crochet, fishing, crossword puzzles and praying for her family.  Her favorite hobby was caring for her toy poodle Tootles.  Diana was the first “Female Lion of the Year” in 1989 for the Ryland Heights Lions Club.  Diana was known by many names such as Wife, Mookie, Mom, Nana to name a few.  Her happiest memories in this life included vacations with her husband and Toodles or any time she spent with any and all of her children, grandkids and great grandkids a.k.a. the babies.

Diana will be laid to rest at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens on November 30th, 2018.  Visitation will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, Kentucky located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm with burial service to follow immediately after.    Diana will be laid to rest per her wishes near her lifelong friend Debbie Rider in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.  We thank you Lord for the time we shared with this amazing and wonderful woman and will forever cherish our memories of her until we are reunited with her in the Kingdom of Heaven.
