Donald Edward Perry, 81, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
He was a Truck Driver for CCC Highway Co., Army Air Corps veteran, member of Independence Lions Club, American Legion Post 275 and Teamsters Local 100
His son, Bob Ford, died in 2006.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva "Jean" Perry; sons, Ronnie Perry of Independence, John Perry of Alamogordo, N.M. and Donnie Perry of Morning View; daughter, Connie Ford of Union; brother, Virgil Perry of Independence; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Visitation will be 8:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, Lions Club service at 10:15 a.m. with service following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
Memorials: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
