Donald R. Smith,
73, of Georgetown, KY formerly of Florence, KY, son of Fletcher and Beulah Smith, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital, Hospice of the Bluegrass, Lexington, KY. He is retired from Asbestos Workers Local #8. He is preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth and Johnny Smith and sister Lilly Lucido. Donald is survived by his loving wife Mary J. Smith. Other survivors include his daughter Vanessa (husband Les) Brummett of Monticello, KY; step-son Mark (wife Deena) Snedegar of Crittenden, KY; step-daughter Debbie (husband Scott) Gray of Cynthiana, KY; grandchildren Phylicia Scott, Destyni Gray and Autumn Gray; great grandchild Avery Lello; brothers Philip Smith and Curtis Smith; sisters Pauline Burnett, Maudena Orr and Louise Goff. Visitation will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Friday, July 26, 2013 from 9am until time of service 10am. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Floral Hills Funeral Home is serving the family.
