48 of Independence, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020. He worked in construction operating equipment for Howell Contracting. Donald enjoyed riding his motorcycle and deer hunting. He is survived by his parents Danny and Sharon Stause; wife Geneva Stause; children Heather Tye, Morgan Strause and Jacob Strause; brother-in-law Braulio Delgado; nieces Juliana Delgado, Olivia Delgado and Sophia Delgado; many extended family members and friends. Donald is preceded in death by his sister Hope Delgado. A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic please remember to social distance and wear a mask in the funeral home.
