Dorothy Lee Bohnert,
Dorothy peacefully passed away while at home with loved ones on April 29, 2016 at age 83. She is survived by her beloved husband and life partner of 46 years, Harold Bohnert. Together they share 10 children, 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two sisters, JoAnn McCaughan and Betty McCarty. Dorothy was a family woman who enjoyed spending time outdoors, picnics, family gatherings and card games. In her lifetime Dorothy was a nurses aide who strongly believed in helping others. She also played an important role at Seventh Day Adventist Church where she often volunteered to help provide food for the less fortunate. Faith was prominent in Dorothy's life and those whom she shared that with were very near and dear to her heart. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 1 pm until 3 pm with a service directly following on May 5, 2016. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice or Seventh Day Adventist Church located at 5235 Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, KY 41015.
