Dorothy Lykins

Dorothy Lykins,88, of Cape Canaveral, Florida, formerly of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on March 7, 2019.  She was born in Covington, Kentucky on January 2, 1931 to the late Herman and Lenora Freimuth.  On January 24, 1948 she married Donald Lykins and he preceded her in death.  Dorothy’s family was very important to her and she loved having them all around.  She enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises, as well as going to concerts and playing Bonko.    She and Donald loved square dancing and round dancing at the Promenade Palace.

In addition to her husband and parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son Michael David Lykins.

Dorothy is survived by her children Rebecca (Robert) Egenes, Donna Lykins, Donald G. Lykins, Brenda (Steve) Oliver and JoAnn (Michael) Johnson; grandchildren Tonya (Jeff) Cook, Travis (Gina Stephenson) Holtkamp, Renee (Lester Stumpf) Egenes, Shanda (Charlie Mounce) Roaden, Kim (George) Phillips, Amy (Ken) Fritz, Mark (Jessie) Lay, Ben (Jackie) Lay, Donald Johnson, Caleb Johnson, Jenny (Nathan) Frye; 26 great grandchildren;  5 great great grandchildren and sister Joan.
