Dottie Seafort

Dottie Seafort, 91, of Florence, Ky passed away peacefully at 11:19am on October 15, 2019 in her home surrounded by family.  She was born March 16, 1928 in Williamstown, Ky to the late Russell and Rosa Roland.  She was married in 1977 to William Seafort who preceded her in death in 1986.

Dottie enjoyed gospel music and bingo.  She looked forward to family reunions and annual sibling trips to Gatlinburg, Tn.  She lived with her daughter, Linda, who was also her best friend and spent her time doing crossword puzzles and exchanging banter with her son in law, Terry Sr.  Her most treasured times were those spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Linda (Terry) Laws, grandchildren Christy (Chris) Laws, Tangela (Chris) Jump, Terry (Sarah) Laws and great grandchildren Malerie Jump, Josh Blaker, Emily Blaker, Jacob Lindsey, Becca Blaker, Ava Jump, Jack Jump, Adelynn Laws and Tucker Jump. Siblings Billy (Sharon) Roland, Russell Jr. Roland, Tessie Nantz, Betty Jewel Stamper, Pat (Virgil) Barnett and Cheryl Garrett and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and 4 brothers.

Please join us in celebrating her life Monday October 21, 2019 at Floral Hills 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, Ky 41015.  Visitation 11 am to 1 pm, service 1 pm and committal service at the burial site immediately following.
