Obituary:

Douglas Works, a beloved resident of Elsmere, Kentucky, passed away on April 1, 2024, in Elsmere, Kentucky. He was born on September 24, 1958, to his loving parents Arthur Works and Thelma Orr Works.

Douglas will be remembered as a dedicated Army Veteran who served his country with honor and courage. His commitment to his service was an inspiration to all who knew him. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and selflessness.

He is survived by his stepchildren, James Powell and Angel Powell, who meant the world to him. Douglas cherished his time with them and was a source of strength and support in their lives.

Douglas Works will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His legacy of compassion and bravery will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

A graveside service will be held at 1PM on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens to honor and celebrate the life of Douglas Works with military graveside honors.
