NEWPORT - Edna Luthringer, 97 died Saturday March 16 at Baptist Convalescent Center.
She was a cook for the Fort Thomas Board of Education and a member of the Women's Guild of Christ Church United Church of Christ, Fort Thomas.
She loved to travel and was a talented seamstress who donated her time to many local schools and churches making costumes for plays and cheerleaders uniforms.
Her husband, Phil J. Luthringer, died previously. Survivors include her daughters, Juanita Story, Deanna Ferguson, and Dawn Kelley; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday March 19 at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday March 20 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Garden, Taylor Mill. Memorials: Hospice of the Bluegrass of Northern Kentucky, 7388 Turfway Road. Florence, KY 41042.
