Edward Slusser

Edward Albert Slusser, 82, of Independence, died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.
He was an army veteran and a mechanic for Cincinnati Power & Gas. He was also a worker for Budget Rental.
Preceded in death by: wife Mary Hill Slusser in 2005; sister Mary Williams; and brother Orville Slusser.
Survived by: daughter Karen Nitschke of Walton; Sharon Hendricks of Lebanon; son Edward Slusser of Russell Springs; son David Slusser of Demossville; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with funeral to follow at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
