Edward Weiss,
67 of Ft. Wright, Kentucky passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015. He was retired from the US Postal Service where he was the Post Master for the Melbourne Post Office and a Veteran of the US Army where he served during the Vietnam Conflict. Ed was an active member of the Hills of Kentucky Dulcimers and a Master Luthier. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing music and traveling. He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Dulcie Weiss, brother Jack Weiss and sister Evelyn Medley. Ed is survived by his wife of 46 years Joan Weiss. He is also survived by his children Tobias (Ronnee) Weiss of Ft. Thomas, KY and Katherine (Ben) Wilmhoff of Boulder, CO; grandchildren Phineas, Elaina, Samuel and Auden; sisters Rose Epperly and Jean (Jerry) Loomis; sister-in-law Olga Weiss and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorials suggested to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 12pm.
