Elizabeth Baker

Elizabeth "Libby" Baker,
93 of Newport, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Elizabeth was a member of the Seabee Women's Auxiliary, an avid bowler, enjoyed dancing and loved being a mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter "Vern" Baker. Elizabeth is survived by her children Richard Baker and Joyce Whitney. She is also survived by her grandchildren Nicole (Tony) Ponting, Todd (Tracy) Whitney, Jennifer (Bob) Born and Kristen (Garrett) Shrock; great grandchildren Max, Owen, Libby, Kole, Casen, Abbie, Ava, Tyler, Reese, Oliver, Marcus and Courtney. Memorials suggested to St. John's United Church of Christ, Casen Shrock Traumatic Brain Injury Awareness Fund or JDRF. Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 10am until time of Funeral Service at 12pm. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
