Ella Louise Atha, 82, of Warsaw, Kentucky passed away in her home on August 28, 2018. She was born on July 5, 1936 to the late Reuben and Fannie Alsip. On July 4, 2002 she married Larry M. Atha and he survives. Atha enjoyed bluegrass music, dancing and flowers.
Ella is survived by her husband; sons Michael (Patricia) Mercer, Donald W. Mercer, Kenny (Lupita) Mercer and Douglas B. Mercer; stepchildren Ronald (Karen) Atha, Dennis (Debbie) Atha and Donna (Jerry) Carnes; brother Chester Alsip; sisters Ruby Alsip, Edith Chowning, Irene Powell and Norma Ryan; grandchildren Brian Mercer, David Mercer, Ben Mercer, Natasha Mercer, Kenny R. Mercer, Sara Mercer, Michelle Fuhrman, Jennifer Kelly, Greg Mercer, Daniel Coyle, Elizabeth Mercer, Gloria Mercer, Trey Mercer, Tommy, Abby and Katie, Wayne Atha, and Tonya Fedders; great grandchildren Alijah and Emma Mercer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Ella was preceded in death by her brothers Charles Alsip, Dillard Alsip and Willard Alsip.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made in Ella's memory to the charity of your choice.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Floral Hills Funeral Home from 11am until time of service at 1pm. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. To leave online condolences, please visit www.floralhillsmemorialgardens.com
