UNION - Bud Koopman Jr., 78, died Friday, Jan. 22, at St. Elizabeth Edgewood.
He worked as an electrical engineer at Procter & Gamble, was a Navy veteran, member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and Methodist Youth Fellowship Leader, 32nd degree Mason, Unity Lodge #478, Scottish Rite and former Boy Scout leader.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Shelby "Jeanne" Compton Koopman of Union; daughters, Dawn Larson of Mason and Joanie Loch of Fort Wayne, Ind.; son, Mark Koopman of Cambridge, Mass.; sister, Margie Paolucci of Oregon and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 24, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Services are 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Lakeside Park. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill.
