Elmo Nelson Sharp, 78, of Newport, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Ft. Thomas. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Annie Sharp. Elmo is survived by his loving wife Marjorie; children Joyce A. Sharp-Straus of Ludlow, Diana L. Sharp of Newport and William G. Sharp of Covington; grandchildren Douglas Straus of Ludlow, Joshua Straus of Ludlow, Eric Bevington of Newport, Eli Crockett of Newport and Lainie Pope of Newport. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 12pm until 4pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
