Elsa Elizabeth Earls (nee: Perry)
Age 83, beloved wife of the late Everett Franklin Earls (Frank), cherished mother of Daryl (Kathy), Doug (Tammy), Dwight Earls and Darlene (Rocky) Lane, devoted grandmother of 10 children, beloved great grandmother of 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was the daughter of the late Grace and Harry Perry, sister of Harry Perry, Ronnie Perry, Jackie Perry and Edwin Perry. Elsa passed away peacefully on April 15, 2017. Elsa was born on September 27, 1933 and was raised in Kentucky. She loved to sew and was always working with neighborhood girls to teach them to make their own doll clothes. She went to work in the mid-sixties and it turned out to be a blessing, as her husband Frank was debilitated by Rheumatoid Arthritis, and had to go on disability a few years later. She adapted to being the major breadwinner and raised her 4 children with love and discipline. She also loved to crochet and every child and grandchild has an example of some of her work to remember her by. Later in life she moved to Texas, but her heart was always in Kentucky. She held her own faith in the Lord and enjoyed raising her children and always had a good sense of humor. She enjoyed laughing, singing and a good time. She was always able to deal with whatever life handed to her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Memorial Gathering will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 4 pm until time of Memorial Service at 6 pm. Please dress casually, we will be.
