Elvin Barnes

Elvin "Dick" Barnes, 82, of Taylor Mill, KY passed away surrounded by his family on August 2, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Edgewood, KY. He retired as a Truck Driver after many years of service in the bakery business. A member of Latonia Christian Church, Florence Lions Club, American Legion Post # 200 in Louisville, KY, a Kentucky Colonel and an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by a Brother: Harold Barnes. Dick is survived by his Wife of 50 years, Gail Britton Barnes; Daughter: Colleen Calvert; Sons: Rick Barnes, Ralph Barnes, Dan Barnes and John Barnes; Sister: Ruth Sdao; Brothers: Jim Barnes and Ed Barnes; 13 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. The Visitation will be on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Latonia Christian Church, 3900 Decoursey Avenue, Latonia, KY from 10 AM until the Funeral Service at 12 PM.
