Ethel Wright

Ethel M. Wright, 93, of Ft. Thomas, KY, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Carmel Manor Nursing Home.  She was born on February 5, 1929, in Newport, KY. A daughter of the late Fred Riesz and Amanda Lampe Riesz. Ethel was a very loving and giving mother and grandmother. She was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her daughters Connie (Danny, deceased) Brierly of Southgate, KY, Judy (Ken) Freudenberg of Independence, KY, and Diana (Chris) Allgeyer of Burlington, KY, 12 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Ruth (Albert, deceased) Racke, several nieces and nephews. Ethel is preceded in death by her husband Eugene (Huey) Wright, and her brother Fred (Fritz) (Rita) Riesz. A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Rd., Taylor Mill, KY, 41015 on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 1 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
