Evelyn Collett

Evelyn Collett, 88, of Newport, died Friday Oct 15 at St Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was preceded in death by her husband John Collett and daughter Kathleen Caudill; She was a retired housekeeper at the former St Luke Hospital in Ft Thomas. She was a life long member of the American Legion Aux post 327 in Newport. She is survived by son, Thomas Caudill; daughters, Judy Straus, Connie Reis, Helen Hutchinson and Kim Resser; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm on Monday, Oct 18 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp Erschell funeral home in Newport. Mass will be at 10am on Tuesday Oct 19 at the Holy Spirit Church, Newport.
