Evelyn Shelton

Evelyn L. Shelton (nee Hurtt), 95 of Taylor Mill, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2018. She retired from Liberty Cherry and Fruit Company in 1979. She was a charter member of Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene (formerly Covington First Church of the Nazarene).
Evelyn was preceded in death by her son Gary R. Shelton; parents Patrick J. Hurtt, Sr. and Parlenia Hurtt; sisters Elsie Covey, Reba K. Spencer and Patsy Hurtt; brothers Frank Hurtt and Patrick J. Hurtt, Jr.; and son in law Robert W. Elliott.
She is survived by her daughter and primary caregiver Virginia "Ginny" Elliott; grandchildren Brad (Amy) Elliott, Dave (Patty) Elliott and Robin Dryden; great grandchildren Logan Elliott, Caitlin Dryden and Brooke Washington; as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers Brad Elliott and Carolyn Lang.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 10 am until time of service at 11 am at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
